Vale – Pat Hingle

Seems I’m writing more of these little articles these days.

Pat Hingle, the man most people know as Commissioner Gordon from the Burton/Schumacher Batman films has passed away, aged 84. Hingle was a long-time character actor in many television series and films, however it’s his legacy in the Batman film’s that will make him truly memorable, and truly missed.

Hingles’ other roles included Sudden Impact, with Clint Eastwood, The Grifters, The Quick & The Dead, Muppets From Space and the Sam Jackson version of Shaft.
