Young adult films have been on the wane in recent years, with the conclusion of The Hunger Games, the failure of DiInVerSurgent and the utter mediocrity of The Maze Runner. The Darkest Minds, which looks like some kind of X-Men offshoot, looks at least vaguely interesting and I’m intrigued to see where this goes!
