I haven't seen the French film this is a remake of, Elizabeth, so I can't comment on whether it's worth it – but I agree with your sentiment, the concept of this film had so much potential…. pity about the execution.

Good review, I haven't seen this and now I don't think I'll bother. Might have to see if I can find the original version of this, however. Sounds like an interesting concept!

I think he's a far better writer than director – Crash was a terrible Best Picture Winner, even though the writing wasn't too bad, but this film was bad all round! Thanks Dan!
