Speed V: Life in the Fast Lane … Speed VI: Zippity Doo Dah … Speed VII: Duller that the Speed of Lite ….

Despite the fact I'm a Hopper fan (albeit not enough to sit through an entire series of 24), I have trouble with "cliffhangers" (campy or otherwise) where busses can fly. I also agree that the train sequence seemed forced ….

One of the first action movies i remember seeing that has NO downtime. Kind of like the first Matrix. Very cool movie and even better review. My recent post Buy My Vote!

I don't know how any action film fan can't enjoy Speed. It plays to a sort of base emotion high concept films attract with ease. Watched it recently and while it is very episodic and I still don't like that tacked-on ending (surely the film should have ended on the bus), Speed never fails to thrill.
