So true. Great idea and there have been no real good movies by or about Poe, and so this really could have gone over some unexplored turf, but then decided to cover the same old ground.At least it was able to inspire this inspired review. I found this one lifeless. A bit like Cusack's preformance – a man I expect more from. Neither thrilling or interesting. Like you says Rodney a middling affair at best.

Good review Rodney. It's a very odd movie, but an entertaining one at least. Cusack keeps it grounded in some sense. My recent post Beautiful Creatures (2013)
