In reply to Nostra. Hmm, that's a good theory I guess, except that it's a pretty big stretch to say that was the intent, I think. Greater use of intercutting between action plots might have helped that work a little better than what was actually achieved. having said that, though, there really is little to complain about if the length of a runway is the key issue of the entire film... LOL!!!!

I did mention to my wife during the film that it must have been the longest runway in the world, but I was happy with all the action that took place there so I have no other complaints about that. One interesting theory I heard which would make that part feasible is the explanation that everything you see with the different members of the crew all takes place at the same time, but is shown after each other. Have not rewatched the movie to see if that makes sense, but I found that interesting.

Ha ha, by "that British actor" I assume you mean the great Jason Statham.,…. Yeah, I'm psyched for that one as well! It's just so sad we'll have to go without Paul Walker, though….. Tell me, did you also think the airplane sequence went on a bit too long?

I absolutely loved this movie and is my favorite in the series….after watching it I still felt the adrenaline pumping through my vains and the addition of that British actor for the next one is something I am really looking forward to.

In reply to rtm. You really should check out the first four F&F flicks too, Ruth. They're of average quality story/acting wise, but they flesh out some of the stuff that's been happening in the last few films. Plus, unless Universal completely rewrites and reshoots the stalled 7th film, the roots of 2 + 3 are likely to sprout with Jason Statham due to enter the frame very soon....

I've only seen the last two F&F movies and enjoyed both of them tremendously! Yes, thanks to Justin Lin for saving this franchise though not sure what's gonna happen to it now.

Your caption 'You’ll believe a man can fly.' is hilarious, that scene is SO preposterous but I've got to admit it's FUN!
