Each to their own. I have friends who think this film is a masterpiece. Frankly, I've never seen it as such. But that's the good thing about any art, I guess.

Haunting, nightmarish, infuriatingly and fascinatingly ambiguous – I can't put my finger on exactly why I love it but I think that's its unique charm. It has that quality I sometimes associate to the work of David Lynch – I don't "get it" but it works.
