Indeed. The trouble with "art-porn", as with actual porn, is that typically the characters don't actually warrant such graphic sexual depictions by way of a narrative. The only recent film I can think of in which this *isn't* true is Blue Is The Warmest Color, which was fantastic *because* of the nature of its sex scenes.
