Well, if we DID all like the same thing, the world would be pretty boring (but safer). I really should get around to reviewing the other Rocky films at some point but they're way down the list at this stage....

I realize I'm in the minority on this one, but I was greatly disappointed in Creed. Just as my expectations for The Big Short were very low and I walked away madly impressed, I let myself be swayed by the press on this one and went in expecting to see a film on par with the original Rocky. Unfortunately, I realized that, just because a film is better than Rocky 3, it doesn't mean it's a good film. This film was far too Hollywood for me, and pales in comparison to the original. In reply to Wendell. Yeah, I think it's going to be Sly's turn this year. Easily one of the better films not up for BP and Best Actor for Jordan, which is a crying shame.

Forgive me if another comment pops up because I think I already did…or at least my phone led me to believe so. Anyhoo, fantastic review. This is one of my faves of 2015, so far (still working my way through them). Jordan and Sly were both great. I'm pulling for Sly on Oscar night.

Great review! Such a fantastic film that I can't wait to see again (seen it twice already so far)!
