In reply to Rodney. Lol, that is exactly how I felt agrees watching Goosebumps! I think the key to the difference between our opinions is find in your last sentence. I saw it on a massive screen (as to better appreciate the cinematography) and didn't spend any time at all on a review. It was just a fun couple hours in cinema!

Yeah, but action without a good story to support it? I'm as empty-headed about B-movie crapola as the next film critic but this one annoyed me – perhaps I'm at that peak remake fatigue point where I just roll my eyes and knuckle down to watch for the sake of cinema, but I'll be damned if I'm not at the point where I realise I have too few hours of my life left to waste on drivel such as this…. :/

I think I might have enjoyed this one a tad more than you! We're in agreement about the story, but I really appreciated the action sequences quite a bit and was pleased to see there was a sufficient amount.

The action was quite nice to watch but you might as well have watched those type of videos on YouTube. Did not enjoy this one much…
