Ravetch, together with his screenwriter wife Harriet Frank Jr., also worked on the Oscar nominated screenplay for <em>Norma Rae<\/em>, as well as films as diverse as <em>The Long, Hot Summer<\/em>, <em>The Sound &amp; The Fury<\/em>, <em>Murphy&#8217;s Romance<\/em>, and <em>Stanley &amp; Iris<\/em>.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">We tip our hat to his passing.
