Pete Postlethwaite, best known for supporting roles in films from <em>In The Name of The Father<\/em> (for which he received an Oscar nomination for Best Supporting Actor), <em>Dragonheart<\/em>, <em>Alien 3<\/em>, <em>The Last Of The Mohicans<\/em>, <em>The Usual Suspects<\/em>, <em>The Lost World: Jurassic Park, Romeo + Juliet, Brassed Off<\/em> and <em>Amistad<\/em>, has died. Most recently, brief cameo appearances in <em>Clash Of The Titans<\/em>, <em>Inception<\/em>, and Ben Affleck&#8217;s <em>The Town<\/em> kept him in the public eye.<\/p>\n<p>Mr Postlethwaite passed away today, after a long battle with cancer.
