Chan plays a father bereaved by a terrorist explosion that takes the life of his young daughter, and he believes that a local political figure (played by a hirsute Pierce Brosnan) holds the information that will lead him to exact revenge. <em>The Foreigner<\/em> looks dark, menacing and <em>awesome<\/em>.
